Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Furniture Fitters / Installer to join our commercial office relocation team. The role involves dismantling, assembling, installing, and reconfiguring office furniture during office relocations and workplace fit-outs across London and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate must have previous experience fitting commercial office furniture and must provide their own basic tools required for installation work.
You will work as part of a professional relocation team delivering high-quality services to corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Dismantle, assemble, and install commercial office furniture including desks, workstations, partitions, storage units, and boardroom furniture
* Reconfigure furniture layouts according to office floor plans
* Assist with office relocations and workspace installations at client sites
* Ensure furniture is fitted safely, correctly, and to a high standard
* Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely
* Load, unload, and position furniture when required
* Work effectively within a team to meet project deadlines
* Maintain a professional approach when working on client premises
* Follow all health and safety procedures on-site
* Report any damages, missing items, or installation issues to supervisors
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Proven experience installing or assembling commercial office furniture
* Ability to read and follow installation plans or furniture layouts
* Must supply and maintain their own basic fitting tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, Allen keys, levels, etc.)
* Strong practical skills and attention to detail
* Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving furniture
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
* Good communication skills
Desirable
* Experience working in office relocations or commercial fit-out environments
* Experience installing systems furniture or modular workstations
Working Conditions
* Work carried out on client sites across London and surrounding areas
* Early starts may be required depending on project schedules
* Occasional evening or weekend work during office relocations
