About The Role

INTERNAL ONLY - THIS VACANCY IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT ISLINGTON COUNCIL EMPLOYEES AND AGENCY WORKERS ON ASSIGNMENT

We’re looking for a skilled Plumber (NVQ Level
3)
with a full driving licence to join our Non‑Housing Repairs Team. You’ll carry out a mix of plumbing and multi‑trade repairs across a range of council‑managed buildings, working independently while being supported by an experienced team.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver high‑quality plumbing and multi‑trade repairs
  • Manage your own workload and respond to urgent jobs
  • Use digital tools to record work and order materials
  • Identify follow‑on repairs and keep colleagues updated
  • Support the Building Services Engineer and lead the team in absence
What you’ll bring
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong customer‑service approach
  • Ability to work independently and safely
