Multiskilled Security Engineer

A well-established fire and security business is looking for a multi-skilled Fire & Security Engineer, ideally security biased, covering London and the M25. There is occasional nationwide travel when required, with all travel paid door-to-door.

The work is varied but organised. A mix of servicing, fault finding, small works and compliance across well-maintained sites. Proper support, realistic workloads, and an expectation to do the job properly.

• £38,000 to £45,000 basic salary
• On call and overtime, easily pushing earnings past £50k
• Door-to-door travel pay, only 15 minutes each way deducted

Working across a mix of systems, including:

• Intruder alarms
• Access control
• CCTV

Coverage is primarily in North London and inside the M25, with some nationwide travel as needed. Travel time is paid, and jobs are planned properly without unrealistic time pressures.

• Strong experience with security systems such as Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Hikvision or Dahua
• Comfortable with servicing, fault finding and small installs
• Fire alarm knowledge is a strong advantage
  
  Good understanding of NSI standards and compliance requirements
• Ful UK driving licence
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
