Circa £40,000 per annum + Travel Pay + Company Vehicle (Personal Use Allowed)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Maintenance Plumbing & Mechanical Engineer to join our team, covering commercial and residential sites across London. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across plumbing and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance, safety, and excellent client service at all times.
This is a mobile role requiring flexibility, strong fault-finding ability, and a professional customer-facing approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and mechanical systems.
* Attend and resolve reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs across multiple London sites.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on various commercial plumbing and mechanical systems
* Complete compliance checks and ensure adherence to health & safety legislation.
* Participate in an on-call rota where required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Plumbing & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
* Strong working knowledge of commercial plumbing and mechanical plant.
* Experience in commercial environments (offices, retail, healthcare, etc.).
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Desirable Qualifications / Experience
* Unvented Hot Water (G3) certification.
* Water Regulations / Legionella awareness.
* Basic electrical knowledge.
* IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
* Experience working within a facilities management environment.
