Maintenance Engineer

Platinum Facilities Maintenance Services are a leading provider of building maintenance and engineering solutions across London and the South East. We deliver exceptional service to a portfolio of prestigious clients and iconic buildings, ensuring their facilities run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
We are now looking for experienced and motivated Eelctrical & Mechanical Engineers to join our mobile team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance across a number of our clients sites in the heart of the City of London.

The Role
As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative and reactive maintenance to both mechanical and electrical systems across our clients’ buildings.
- Monday – Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 (flexible)
General Duties include (not limited to):
 
* Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork (logs and reports).
 
* Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks as required.
 
* Work on various contracts and client sites as requested, fulfilling the requirements of the client SLA’s.
 
* Be on a call out Rota to provide the client with out of hours cover when required.
 
* Document control - reporting, logs via CAFM System.
 
* Experience of Facilities maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including: boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switch gear, cables, Batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)
 
* Knowledge of and experience in BMS/ Generator/Controls/Lighting Systems/ACOPS L8 – desirable
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
 
* Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent – Essential
 
* Qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 Mechanical or equivalent – Essential
 
* 18th Edition - Desirable
 
* 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing - Desirable
     
* Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment Including:
Emergecy Lighting, Tap Temperature testing, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switch gear, cables, Batteries, small power, and lighting.
