M Pro Recruitment is working with a well-established fire protection company seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Supervisor to support projects and service works across London and the surrounding Home Counties.
This role is ideal for a highly experienced sprinkler engineer looking to take the next step into a supervisory position, with strong technical knowledge across commercial and residential sprinkler systems.
The Role
As a Fire Sprinkler Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and carrying out servicing, inspections, and remedial works across a range of fire protection systems, ensuring full compliance with current British and EN standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Servicing, testing, and carrying out remedial works on commercial and residential sprinkler systems
* Inspection and maintenance of fire hydrants, fire hose reels, dry and wet risers
* Surveying sites to identify remedial works and system upgrade requirements
* Providing accurate technical information to support quotations for system upgrades and modifications
* Ensuring all works comply with British Standards, EN standards, and Health & Safety regulations
* Identifying, diagnosing, and repairing system faults
* Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and system design layouts
* Supervising works on single and multi-site locations as required
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in a similar fire sprinkler role
* Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including BS 9251
* Solid experience across commercial and residential sprinkler systems, including system changeovers
* Competent working with fire alarms and a wide range of commercial sprinkler systems
* Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
* Fire protection certifications or relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential)
* Comfortable working across multiple sites and varied locations
* Full UK driving licence
* Specialist tools provided
