The Role
We are a well-established electrical contractor based in Lambeth, looking for a dedicated and motivated Electrical Trainee to join our local team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in or around Lambeth with a keen interest in electrical systems to learn, develop, and build a career right here in the heart of London. You will work closely with experienced electricians and supervisors, assisting with day-to-day reactive and installation tasks across Lambeth and the wider Southeast.
This role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction within our vibrant local community.
Key Responsibilities• Attend various sites across Lambeth and beyond using public transport or a company vehicle.
• Assist managers with reactive and installation tasks in residential and commercial properties.
• Maintain a professional company image through excellent customer communication and high standards of dress.
• Ensure company vehicles and tools are kept in good working order.
• Follow health and safety legislation and company guidelines at all times.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Work flexibly to support colleagues and meet client and company targets.
• Provide your own basic tools (specialist tools will be supplied).
• Attend 95% of company courses and training sessions.
• Complete all assignments within required deadlines.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies.

• Keep sickness and absence within company guidelines.
• Knowledge of the London/Southeast electrical industry
• English & Maths Functional Skills Level 2, City & Guilds Level 2 2365/02 or equivalent
