Contract Chiller Engineer – £400 per day – London

Our client is a leading Air Conditioning & Refrigeration engineering contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering large-scale commercial projects. Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Chiller Engineer to support ongoing projects across London and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Contract Chiller Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding and commissioning of chiller systems within commercial and critical environments.

This role is site-based and would suit an engineer comfortable working independently on live plant rooms.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintain and commission air-cooled and water-cooled chillers

* Fault-finding on:

* Compressors

* Pumps & valves

* Controls and refrigeration circuits

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Attend reactive breakdowns and call-outs

* Complete service reports and site documentation

* Liaise with site teams and clients as required

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Chiller Engineer

* Strong knowledge of chilled water systems and commercial refrigeration

* Level 2 / Level 3 qualifications in Refrigeration / HVAC

* F-Gas qualified

* Full UK driving licence

* Full right to work in the UK

* Minimum 3+ years’ industry experience
