Are you an experienced Fire Door Joiner with inspection expertise and a strong understanding of fire safety regulations? We are seeking a skilled and reliable professional to join a leading fire protection company, carrying out both inspections and remedial works on fire doors across commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out detailed inspections and surveys of fire doors in line with current fire safety legislation and relevant British Standards (including BS 476, BS 8214 and BS 9999).

* Assess fire door condition, compliance, and performance, identifying defects and non-compliances.

* Undertake remedial works, repairs, and replacements to fire doors where required (including frames, hinges, closers, seals, glazing, and ironmongery).

* Install new fire doors and associated components to certified standards.

* Produce clear, accurate inspection and work reports, including photographic evidence and recommendations.

* Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and internal teams to explain findings and required actions.

* Maintain accurate records of all inspections, works completed, and certification issued.
Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Fire Door Joiner and Fire Door Inspector.

* Recognised inspection qualification (e.g. BM TRADA, FDIS, or equivalent).

* Strong practical joinery background with experience fitting and repairing fire doors.

* Sound knowledge of fire safety legislation, British Standards, and best practice.

* High attention to detail with the ability to produce professional reports.

* Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
