Overview
Fire Damper Engineer – London - £45,000. We are representing a nationwide fire & security company that carries out the full fire & security services from design, install to maintenance across the South East. Due to growth, they are seeking a Fire Damper Engineer to join their team.
Salary & Benefits- £40,000 - £45,000
- Travel time paid after a 1 hour minimum each way
- 20 days holidays (opportunity to buy 5 extra days)

- Ongoing training & progression
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire and smoke dampers in accordance with:
- BS 9999, BS 9991
- BS EN 1366-2, BS EN 15650
- ASFP and local authority requirements
- Carry out periodic fire damper drop tests and visual inspections.
- Identify non-compliant, damaged, or inaccessible dampers and record deficiencies.
- Perform minor remedial works, including:
- Replacement of fire dampers and smoke dampers
- Installation of access panels
- Repair or replacement of fusible links, actuators, and blades
- London & Home Counties
