MET Technician

Our Motor Trade Client is a reputable, family‑run crash repair central based in Beckenham and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.

• Competitive basic salary up to £50,000 per annum based on experience
• OTE potential of £54,000 with overtime opportunities
• Standard working hours of 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Optional Saturdays paid at overtime rate for those wishing to increase their earnings
• Flexible start times with shifts starting at 7:30 or 8:00 am, including a 30‑minute lunch break

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our client’s high standards
• Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role
• Identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
• Communicating effectively with other team members
• Carry out quality controls

• Proven experience as a MET Technician, ideally within a crash repair environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and methods
• Auto Electrician skills are advantageous but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
