? About the Role Build Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician for a social housing reactive maintenance contract based in Walton-On-Thames and the surrounding areas.
You’ll be working across a portfolio of void and occupied properties, carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, and testing to ensure homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Complete full electrical testing and produce EICRs.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults effectively.
Install extractor fans, including core drilling where required.
Replace and clean electrical accessories as needed.
Carry out PAT testing on tools and appliances.
Deliver a first-time fix approach with excellent customer service.
Work safely and in accordance with Health & Safety and safeguarding standards.
Collaborate with other trades to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
Accurately record job details, materials, and time via PDA systems.
? What You’ll Need
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
? About You We’re looking for a confident and experienced Electrician who can manage their own workload, deliver high-quality work, and take pride in providing excellent service to residents.
Experience with in the social housing maintenance sector is highly desirable, along with a proactive and reliable approach to work.

Competitive salary of £40,000 – £42,000 per annum
