Overview

Electrician — £44,000 - £47,500 depending on experience

Location:

London and surrounding areas

Hours:

50 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Overtime available paid at time and a half. Saturday afternoon - Monday morning overtime. On call rota approximately 3 - 4 weeks per year and 1 day over the Christmas period.

This role is full-time and permanent.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
• Carry out electrical inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
• Complete Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), and Minor Works Certificates
• Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical distribution systems, control panels, and machinery
• Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate works

The main purpose of this Electrician role is to carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, testing and fault finding on electrical systems with commercial and industrial environments.

• City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
• Must hold a Gold Card
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
• Up-to-date BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• ECS or CSCS card (Essential)
• Proven experience working in commercial and/or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of three-phase systems, containment, and distribution boards
• Competent in testing, inspection, and certification
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
