GA Interiors Ltd is a specialist subcontractor delivering high-quality interior fit-out solutions across the UK. Established in 2018, the company provides services including drylining, plastering, suspended ceilings, floor screeding, SFS framing, cladding, rendering, carpentry, and joinery. We work with some of the UK’s largest main contractors, delivering projects across the commercial, residential, education, hotel, and data‑centre sectors.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Drylining Apprentice to join our team.

Apprenticeship Summary
  • Salary: £7.55 per hour
  • Working Week:
    Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (1-hour break)
  • Hours:

    35 hours per week
  • Online apprenticeship training supported by skilled tutors

  • Additional information:
    This is currently a 10-month flexi‑apprenticeship placement, with the possibility of extension. After 10 months, the placement may continue at another site if required.
The Role

As a Drylining Apprentice, you will gain hands‑on experience on live residential construction sites, supporting the installation of internal walls, partitions, suspended ceilings, and other drylining systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn essential trade skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

You will play an important part in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while developing the technical knowledge required to progress within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the drylining team with setting out and preparing materials
  • Measure, cut, and fix plaster boards and other drylining systems
  • Install metal stud partitions and ceiling systems
  • Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on site
  • Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
  • Assist with general labouring duties as required
  • Follow site rules and adhere to company regulations
The Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • A valid CSCS card (required)
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Basic understanding of construction or building processes
  • Physical fitness and stamina suitable for site work
  • Practical problem‑solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and pride in completing high‑quality work
  • Willingness to learn new skills and progress within the industry
  • Respect for health & safety regulations
  • Ability to provide own tools for site use
Training and Development

As an apprentice, you will receive both on‑the‑job learning and formal apprenticeship training. This will include:

  • Working towards a recognised Interior Systems – Dry Liner qualification
  • Practical, supervised training from experienced drylining professionals
  • Regular progress reviews to support your development
  • Experience working on high‑profile UK construction projects
