Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer – London – £40,000–£44,000 + Package
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established fire and security specialist operating across London and the surrounding areas. The business provides high-quality communal IRS, security, and fire protection solutions to a wide range of clients, including housing associations, local authorities, facilities management companies, and property managers.
This is a full-time, field-based role responsible for preventative, reactive, and remedial maintenance across domestic and commercial properties, delivering work to a consistently high professional standard.

Role & Responsibilities

* Servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire and security systems

* Preventative, reactive, and remedial works across domestic and commercial properties

* Carrying out small works and system repairs

* Completing asset logs and system records on site

* Managing your own daily workload to ensure timely completion of jobs

* Communicating progress and updates with the office on a daily basis

* Dealing with clients face-to-face in a professional and customer-focused manner

* Ensuring all work is completed in line with British Standards and industry regulations

* Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer

* Strong knowledge of fire and security systems and relevant British Standards

* Experience carrying out preventative maintenance to current regulations

* Background working with CCTV and Access Control systems
   (Entrotec experience advantageous; fire alarm experience beneficial)

* Relevant qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, City & Guilds (desirable)

* Excellent customer-facing and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

* Experience with in the construction and fire & security industry

* Clean criminal record with the ability to pass DBS / security screening
