Field‑based position covering the Southbank area of London. The role is static with no extensive travel.
Job Purpose- To undertake all electrical works within the area efficiently and safely, with repairs undertaken as appropriate.
- To ensure all planned maintenance is carried out on schedule.
- Ensure equipment and services are maintained in a safe condition in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Monitor preventive maintenance programmes and record inspection reports.
- Maintain logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
- Have working knowledge of statutory regulations and safety procedures.
- Undertake electrical repairs and installations as required.
- Report defects at time of service visit.
- Carry out work specified in service orders.
- Manage vehicle and stock control of materials.
- Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time.
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Work safely and diligently.
- Attend and participate in training and appraisal activities.
- Undertake additional sapertos as required.
- Follow group and company policies at all times.
- Report any deficiencies that may impact service delivery, health & safety or the environment.
- Use all work equipment and PPE correctly and per training received.
- Report any issues or training needs to your Uploader line manager or via incident reporting system.
- City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent preferred.
- IEE 18th Edition Regulations knowledge preferred but not essential.
- Experience in all types of electrical fire‑life safety works in the services sector.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Strong customer‑care focus.
- Proactive with the ability to anticipate potential faults.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights up to 25 kg.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer‑focused with good organisational skills.
