Ceto Talent is recruiting a Welder - Rolling Stock for a major London transport authority to help maintain the fleet of underground trains. This is a full-time onsite position working on critical rolling stock maintenance.

What We're Looking For

The ideal Welder - Rolling Stock will bring:

* Essential:
Aluminium TIG and MIG welding experience

* Apprentice trained or Level 3 qualified in welding

* Ability to pass and maintain welding codings (essential for continued employment)

* Proven experience in welding and fabrication

* Understanding of safe working practices and compliance

About the Role

This Welder - Rolling Stock contract offers the opportunity to work on underground rolling stock maintenance, ensuring London's tube trains keep moving. You'll be working onsite at the Acton facility, carrying out aluminium TIG and MIG welding on critical fleet components.

Key Responsibilities

As Welder - Rolling Stock, you will:

* Carry out aluminium TIG and MIG welding on underground rolling stock

* Maintain the fleet of tube trains to ensure safe and reliable operations

* Pass and maintain required welding codings

* Work to approved safe systems of work and quality standards

* Carry out welding repairs and fabrication as required

* Ensure all work meets technical specifications and safety requirements

* Hourly rate: £39.24 per hour (Umbrella - Inside IR35)

* Hours:

36 hours per week (7am-3:15pm Monday-Friday with early finish on Friday)
