About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an experienced team at Heathrow Airport. In this key position, you will be responsible for ensuring all on-site equipment is installed safely, correctly, and is always fully operational, with the role offering clear career progression and structured training toward becoming a Commissioning Engineer.

Please note, this is a Night shift role with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Uplifts are in place for night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, commission, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the Heathrow site

* Conduct thorough testing and inspection of equipment to ensure full functionality and compliance

* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime

* Work closely with operational teams and contractors to support safe and efficient site operations

* Maintain accurate service records and documentation

* Ensure all work meets safety regulations, technical standards, and Heathrow compliance requirements

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar service engineering role

* Time-served Mechanical and Electrical experience

* Strong technical knowledge with hands-on problem-solving capability

* Electrical qualification (essential)

* Experience testing equipment on site

* Knowledge of Heathrow Airport operations (advantageous)

* Ability to work independently, safely, and to a high standard
