Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is looking for a Water Technician Level 1 to maintain safe, compliant water systems across our high‑profile sites. You will be responsible for Legionella monitoring, routine water maintenance, testing and basic plumbing interventions.

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing and minor plumbing tasks.
• Ensure routine monitoring tasks comply with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain customer water log books and document all activities following company policy and current guidelines.
• Carry out water system cleanings and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves and perform basic plumbing work as required.

• Previous experience within compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring or water treatment.
• Applicants with limited or no direct experience are welcome if they possess relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
