VIGO’s on the lookout for a BEMS Installation Engineer to join one of our clients, a trusted leader in the smart buildings sector. As a BEMS Installation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining advanced building management systems while ensuring a safe, compliant working environment. You’ll also provide guidance to junior staff, supporting their development and contributing to the growth of the company.

• Execute detailed electrical installations according to precise technical diagrams and specs
• Conduct complete Electrical Inspection and Testing
• Ensure installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality procedures
• Lead routine maintenance while swiftly diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
• Provide mentorship and technical support to electricians and apprentices in your team
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment

• 2+ years of experience as an Installation or Maintenance Electrician
• Experience with BEMS, lighting control systems, or security is desirable
• Recognised qualifications as an Approved Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Demonstrated competence in Electrical Inspection and Testing
• Ability to decipher technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality
• Full UK driver’s license
