Security Supervisor

As a Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues and hotel. Supporting the Director of Security, you will help oversee the day to day operation of the security team, lead by example on shift, and ensure everyone within the hotel feels safe, supported and at ease.

• Support the Director of Security in the smooth operational running of the security team, including 24 hour coverage and third party contractors
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues and the hotel at all times
• Act as a visible and approachable presence, creating reassurance across the hotel
• Lead and assist with investigations, gathering evidence and completing accurate incident reports
• Liaise with management, emergency services and relevant authorities during incidents, accidents or fire situations
• Ensure all actions align with the company Risk Management and Health and Safety plans
• Conduct regular mock fire evacuations and crisis management drills in line with hotel standards
• Act as the escalation point for guest or colleague concerns, resolving issues calmly and professionally
• Assign duties and schedules to balance operational needs and productivity
• Manage colleague lockers and access control where required
• Work closely with department heads to ensure security procedures are followed consistently
• Maintain strong knowledge of hotel systems and security operations

You bring a minimum of three years’ experience in a security role within a luxury hotel environment. You'll ideally hold a valid SIA licence, emergency first aid, IOSH and fire safety certifications, and are confident using OPERA, Microsoft Office and security systems. Calm under pressure and confident in decision making, you are a natural leader with strong communication skills and a guest focused mindset.
