Overview
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Security Officer to safeguard a prominent facility in London. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a clean and professional environment, and uphold a high level of security. A robust background in the security sector, proficiency with IT systems, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Within this role you will carry out s, respond to emergencies, and provide information to staff and visitors as necessary.
RoleRole: Security Officer
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off days & nights, 12 hour shifts – average 42 hrs per week
Location: London N1

- Good customer service and communication skills
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer (min 1 year)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with in a Corporate Security (min 1 year)
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- 5-year checkable work history
- IT literate – ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Able to carry out regular patrols
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Assist contractors as required and as directed by the DSM/SM
- Responsible for opening and closing the building and terraces
- Capable of working effectively under pressure
- Able to de-escalate situations, including incidents involving young people and anti-social behaviour
- Provide First Aid assistance when required
- Able to interact with stakeholders and tenants
- Prepared to respond to any incidents (full training provided on site)
