The role is posted for the UK, but we are open for other EMEA locations. Reporting to the Global VP of Security Strategy and GTM, this role leads and manages remote teams to structure and support critical security sales deals that increase security sales revenue for the EMEA region. You and your team will work with the Area VPs to determine the most critical accounts to engage your team on.

As a strong leader, this person will drive operational excellence through a combination of mentoring and team management, interaction with internal partners, customers and alignment with Splunk sales policies.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a team of Security Sales Specialists, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
  • Support the professional growth and engagement of team members, ensuring alignment with Cisco’s and Splunk’s vision and values.
  • Implement the global Splunk security GTM strategy within the region, tailoring initiatives to local market dynamics while contributing feedback to global leadership.
  • Drive pipeline management, revenue attainment, and business performance, delivering regular reporting and actionable insights to the SVP.
  • Oversee and ensure the successful execution of global and regional sales plays and campaigns to drive incremental Annual Contract Value (iACV).
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including Closed Security iACV, Security Renewal Rate, Product Adoption Rates, and account plan execution.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate renewal risks, ensuring a healthy pipeline and sustainable business growth.
  • Drive operational excellence through efficient resource allocation and process improvement.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Cisco and Splunk sales, technical, product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver unified value propositions.
  • Serve as the regional authority on Splunk security business metrics, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Champion unified messaging and integrated solutions that position Splunk as a critical solution.
  • Guide and support team members in developing and executing comprehensive security account plans for priority and at-risk accounts.
  • Implement a white-glove engagement model for high-value accounts, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and long‑term loyalty.
  • Synthesize field feedback and collaborate with programs and product management to refine go‑to‑market strategies and enablement initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of competitive trends, product innovations, and market shifts impacting Splunk security adoption.
Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of leadership/management experience; proficient in goal setting, career planning, and daily management responsibilities of a team.
  • Been a practitioner in the security field, preferable in Security operations.
  • Thrives in finding business solutions to complex challenges. Demonstrated ability of data management, data quality audit, documentation and visual presentation of results in a fast-growing software enterprise company.
  • Extremely eloquent with demonstrated ability to interface, influence, and work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with  reporting and administration.
  • Managed results-driven sales programs and possess strong management skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Superb communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and strong MS Office skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and remotely from other members of the team and corporate.
