Relief Screening Officer – Join our team to maintain the safety and security of people and property at a critical client site. We’ll rely on your observation, reporting, and screening skills to keep the environment secure and provide exceptional service.

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, professional Relief Screening Officer who follows established security protocols, monitors access points, performs screening checks, and responds to potential breaches. You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Adhere to and apply the Screening Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Require data centre personnel to utilise metal detection and/or wand for secure area access
• Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoints
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel
• Perform hand‑held wand searches and walk‑through metal detection searches
• Follow safe work practices and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety
• Notify superiors of any unsafe working conditions
• Carry out all functions, duties, or tasks in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, following applicable company policies and procedures
• Seek clarification from superiors or authorised company representatives when uncertain

We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Reliable, flexible, and able to cover last‑minute shifts
• Willingness to travel and cover all of London
• Ability to work independently for long periods of time
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
