Corporate Security Response Officer – the opportunity to represent CIS Security and the customer by delivering high‑quality guarding and customer service across two City of London landmarks.

City of London - Pay Rate: £14.05 per hour
- Hours:
Average 36 hours per week - Shifts:
Various – days, nights & weekends
- SIA Licence is required to work within the security industry.
- Corporate security experience for at least 1 year is an advantage.
- Must be reliable, flexible, responsible and punctual.
- Must work the rostered pattern, covering days, nights, and weekends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of good customer care.
- Good IT skills (as all posts require IT use).
- Friendly, professional, positive, and can‑do attitude.
- Maintain immaculate appearance at all times.
- Able to work in a team as well as independently.
- Pro‑active, think on feet, use own initiative.
- Carry out internal and external patrols as required.
- Flexible approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- Provide required documentation and vetting information.
- Vehicular and pedestrian access control in the loading bay area.
- Arrange parking for visitors.
- Sign in cleaners, couriers, contractors, delivery drivers and visitors.
- Internal car‑park and external plaza patrols.
- Check permit information.
- Carry out emergency processes.
- Assist in the post room or front‑of‑house area.
- Provide escorts for visitors and contractors when required.
- Work with a team.
- Demonstrate and deliver high‑quality security professionalism.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and service users.
- Remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations confidently.
- Create and maintain a professional environment recognized by customers, tenants and visitors as outstanding.
- Develop strong staff and customer rapport by listening, assisting and supporting, and responding promptly to concerns.
- Comply with all required systems and protocols including Security Assignment Instructions, emergency procedures and SOPs as stipulated by the building owners and management team.
- Comply with any administration or reporting processes requested by the ROH Manager, Duty Shift Manager, Security Manager, Assistant Security Manager, Building Manager or customer.
- Assist the Security Shift Manager in complying with all relevant governmental laws, SIA, data protection and Health and safety requirements.
- Aspire to be a role model and inspire others within the team, take responsibility and make decisions when required.
- Help the team deliver a secure, friendly, sustainable environment.
- Ensure all weekend checks are carried out weekly for both day and night shifts.
- Ensure all handovers are compiled and submitted appropriately and that everything is in place and correct.
- Ensure visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Confidently undertake 100% of all specific duties.
