This is a rare opportunity to build and scale the UK market for a fast-growing, government-backed AI and data technology business. With 240+ global employees and strong international traction, the company delivers AI-ready data platforms, automation tools, and sovereign AI solutions to enterprise and public sector organisations.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for driving UK revenue growth from zero — securing flagship enterprise and government clients, establishing market presence, and creating a repeatable sales engine.

The Role

As Sales Director, you will operate as a highly strategic, hands‑on enterprise seller. This is not a people‑management role from day one, it is a market‑building opportunity.

You will own the full sales cycle, win complex £200k+ deals, and build the foundations for scalable revenue growth across the UK and wider EMEA region. Over time, you will have the opportunity to shape and expand the sales function as traction grows.

  • Develop and execute the UK go-to-market and revenue strategy
  • Own full enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through to closing
  • Secure new logo enterprise and public sector clients
  • Engage and influence C‑suite and senior decision‑makers
  • Position complex AI and data solutions within regulated environments
  • Build predictable pipeline, forecasting, and deal momentum
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align solutions to market needs
  • Represent the business across key UK industry and government networks
Sales Director Benefits
  • Competitive base salary of £120,000–£160,000 with OTE of £220,000-£300,000

We’re looking for a commercially driven enterprise sales professional who brings:

  • 10+ years enterprise technology sales experience
  • Strong track record selling AI, data platforms, cloud, or complex technical solutions
  • Proven success closing £200k+ strategic deals
  • Experience selling into UK government or regulated industries
  • Background building revenue in greenfield or growth‑stage environments
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive engagement skills
