Role and Team

Flywire’s Travel business is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales Team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional ready to build their career while contributing to both pipeline generation and deal closures. The BDR will spend 100% of their time on Business Development Representative responsibilities, driving lead generation and pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
    • Leverage prospecting channels such as cold calling, email, and social media to identify and qualify sales opportunities
    • Manage inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities for the team
    • Partner with the marketing team to enhance campaigns and drive lead conversions
    • Research and identify new potential travel operators, DMC and accommodation clients
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with Senior Account Executives and Managers to support pipeline growth and sales strategy
    • Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product, and implementation, to ensure a seamless client experience
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of sales experience; experience in payments or the travel industry is highly advantageous
  • Proactive, organized and self-motivated with a strong desire to grow within a sales organisation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Linked In, and other pipeline management tools (preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
