Your Tasks
Our Trade Counter Sales Assistants work towards providing the best customer experience for our clients, whilst also growing their knowledge about the large range of products we offer. As a Sales Assistant based in our Walthamstow office
, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, whether this be over the phone, face to face or via email.
Responsibilities will include processing sales orders, ensuring that details are accurate so the customer gets what they need every time. You will provide customers with quotations as well as offering technical advice about the products we stock. You will need to be happy to learn and develop knowledge about the mechanical products we supply. You will also process payments and organise returns or exchanges for the customer, as well as contacting suppliers to chase orders, prices and product availability.
As part of this close-knit team there will also be a requirement to support the warehouse during busy/holiday periods, so we need someone who is a real team player and who will be happy to help whether it be internal or external customers.
Hours of work – 07:30-16:30 Mon-Thurs / 07:30-15:00 Friday
Skills & Experience- 1-2 years of business-to-business sales or sales administration experience at any level
- Computer literate
- Confident manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maths and English to GCSE level 4
