Business Development Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading corporate travel management company, who are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales professional with experience in business development, lead generation, and winning new clients. This role will be office or hybrid based in Central London or Southwest London and offers a basic salary of £37,000 plus a generous uncapped bonus scheme, along with fantastic company benefits and the opportunity for future career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate new corporate business through lead generation, including cold calling from an existing database
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within large organisations to drive new sales and account development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact via phone, email, reporting, and marketing communications
  • Attend client meetings in a professional and well-presented manner
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Act as a role model within the Business Development team by consistently achieving targets and KPIs
  • Grow your pipeline through networking and self-generated leads, alongside telemarketing activity
Experience
  • Proven experience in Business Development, B2B sales, or lead generation
  • Confident and professional telephone manner with strong rapport-building skills
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed in a commission-led role
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient
  • A positive team player who leads by example
