22 helps capital market companies reduce the cost and complexity of risk management by providing applications to help address firm’s trading and corporate risk challenges to manage their entire enterprise risk portfolio.
Based in London, and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the successful applicant will be charged with building relationships and signing new direct clients, generating additional ARR and NRR for KRM
22. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying new prospects, qualifying leads, and supporting commercial initiatives across the business. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Marketing, Product, Technology and Services teams to help drive sales pipeline growth and deliver clear value to clients.
The main duties include:
- Working with the Revenue team to achieve individual, quarterly and annual new business revenue targets
- Represent KRM
22 in a professional and structured manner with travel as required - Actively prospect, target, research, contact and close new business
- Manage the sales cycle with enthusiasm
- Produce commercial proposals in line with sales operating procedures
- Possess a deep knowledge of all KRM
22 applications and services, being able to communicate them effectively to clients, prospects and the wider capital markets community - Deliver product presentations
- Record and maintain all prospect activity within the CRM system
- Build and maintain sales pipeline and forecast future revenue
- Contribute where appropriate to company initiatives and assignments
- Actively report back into the business any relevant market/competitive intelligence
- Over 10 years sales experience in Financial Markets technology sales
- A proven track record of meeting/beating new business sales targets in complex sales environments
- Experience in managing a pipeline of opportunities in an organised and consistent way
- A collaborative nature and an ability to build broad client relationships
- An adaptive sales style with the ability to adjust to prospect needs, excellent negotiation skills, and comfortable managing objections
- Able to quickly convey product knowledge
- Self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, hard-working, and dynamic
- Superlative communication skills (listening, verbal, written, presentation)
- Highly organised and excellent planning skills, able to work under pressure, able to meet deadlines.
- Experience in the use of sales tools such as our chosen CRM
- Quick learner, analytic and rational thinking, able to analyse and interpret data, polite, problem solver
