About the role
As a Direct Sales Consultant you will be reporting to the Sales Manager and you will be responsible for selling Out of Home Advertising space to small and medium sized businesses.
What the role entails- Identify prospect and secure new business across direct clients local advertisers and emerging brands.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to negotiation closing and post-campaign follow-up.
- Develop tailored media proposals based on client objectives using a range of formats.
- Build strong long‑term relationships with clients acting as their primary point of contact.
- Maximise revenue opportunities by upselling and cross‑selling OOH media solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams including planning, operations, marketing and creative to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity using CRM tools.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
- Attend client meetings, presentations and events to represent the business professionally.
- You’ll embed yourself in your clients markets and grow your own professional brand as the go‑to person for advertising expertise, understanding how you compete and complement other media and growing your share of the market.
- Experience in media.
- Confident consultative sales style with strong client‑relationship skills.
- Excellent listener with the ability to understand client needs even between the lines.
- Highly organised and structured in your approach with a drive to continuously improve.
- Tenacious and strong at problem‑solving.
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Curious, eager to learn and passionate about media.
