The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a French speaker to join Energy Net, a leading producer of investment conferences in Africa's energy sectors; with a strong reputation for organising the Africa Energy Forum - the premier event for power sector decision-makers in Africa. We also host targeted investment meetings in emerging markets with high power generation potential. Our recent events have been held in exciting locations such as Lisbon, Brussels, Miami, Cape Town, Cartagena, Lima, Panama City, Nairobi, and Dar es Salaam.

- Africa Power Sector. You will be responsible for selling on specific events within Energy Net, Queen's Award-winning portfolio of conferences. Energy Net have developed a comprehensive series of events ranging from the long running Africa Energy Forum to the Youth Energy Summit!
Reporting to the Group Director - Sales Performance, within Energy Net, the Delegate Sales Executive role is a phone-based sales position working to establish new, and extend existing relationships, with customers. The ideal candidate will be professional, commercially minded, authoritative, and able to demonstrate knowledge of successful sales processes. They will be a self-starter who sets themselves realistic but stretching goals, providing clear and accurate information on their performance, demonstrating a desire to continually improve.
Key Responsibilities- Selling over the phone to existing, and potential new clients, to meet realistic sales revenue targets both in English and French.
- Creating, developing, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients through a consultative sales approach, demonstrating the value of attending Energy Net's conferences.
- Keeping abreast of market developments, identifying, and researching new growth areas for sales.
- Maintaining key customer care objectives.
- Help develop strategies and initiatives with your line manager to ensure the ongoing growth and development of the conferences and your role.
- Liaising with the Marketing Team and Line Manager to follow up on enquiries, upselling, database updates, new business, group sales, and reports.
- Monitoring and evaluation of all competitor activity.
- Ensuring and assisting accounts personnel in the timely payment of all customer payments.
- Commercially minded, demonstrating excellent market and product knowledge.
- Fluency in spoken French is essential with an understanding of foreign business cultures being advantageous.
