About the role

As the Strategic Account Manager Sales Leader at Big Hand, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth within the North American market. You will lead a team of 6–7 Sales Representatives and be responsible for executing the Big Hand Go‑To‐Market Playbook. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to effectively leverage the Voice of the Customer, build strong client relationships, and ensure the seamless execution of the company’s sales strategy.

What

you’ll do

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 6–7 Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to develop the skills and capabilities of your sales team.

  • Foster a collaborative and high‑performance sales culture within the team.

  • Foster a collaborative sales culture with the North American market, including Solutions, Customer Success, Client Delivery, and Technology.

  • Foster a collaborative sales culture with the Global Big Hand Sales Team.

Sales Strategy Execution

  • Execute the Big Hand Go‑To‑Market Playbook with precision and adapt it as necessary to meet the unique needs of the North American market.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine and improve the sales approach.

Voice of the Customer (VOC)

  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organisation, gathering insights and feedback from clients and prospects.

  • Translate customer feedback into actionable strategies to enhance product offerings and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure that the product development team is aligned with customer needs and demands.

Building Relationships

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with key clients, law firms, and legal professionals in the North American market.

  • Engage with strategic partners and alliances that can help drive business growth, working collaboratively with Big Hand’s MD of Resource Management who looks after partnerships.

  • Represent Big Hand at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Sales Performance and Reporting

  • Monitor and track individual and team sales performance, pipeline, and revenue targets.

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

  • Implement data‑driven approaches to optimise sales processes and achieve sales goals.

What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a similar field.

  • Proven track record of successful enterprise sales leadership, ideally within the legal technology or software industry.

  • Strong understanding of the legal industry, law firm operations, and the challenges faced by legal professionals.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
