Red Hat Sales Specialist – NTT Data (UK) Ltd – Technology Solutions Division

I am looking to bring on board a Red Hat Sales Specialist who will be a seasoned subject matter expert on Red Hat technology. The specialist will be in a pivotal role, directly engaging with customers, partners and internal sales teams to identify opportunities, pursue and land qualified leads identified by the Client Management team and other respective teams.

The Red Hat Sales Specialist is a technical and business development leader who can act as a Trusted Advisor to our customers on Red Hat Technology. The Red Hat Sales Specialist will work as part of the UK&I Data Centre Sales Practice team.

The specialist will be engaged actively driving the sales process in partnership with Client Managers and existing Sales Specialists. This role contributes to the pre‑sales process by working with pre‑sales architects to create the best solution design for the client, as well as building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with new and existing clients, whilst developing new business channels and territories.

Required

Skills and Experience
  • Sales experience in a technology or services environment (5 yrs +) in a sales specialist role focussed on Red Hat or related technology.
  • Mature understanding of virtualisation and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience of solution‑based selling with a proven track record of sales over‑achievement.
  • Demonstrable track record selling Red Hat technology as a component of hybrid cloud technology solutions and services to senior level clients.
  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets and pipeline generation metrics.
  • Effective networking with senior internal and external people in partners, customers and our wider organisation in the specialist area of expertise.
