Aday in the life
You will act as both the commercial and technical representative for a globally respected cutting-tool manufacturer. Your time will be split between customer and distributor visits, developing new opportunities, and providing hands‑on technical support, while delivering sales plans that drive profitable growth within your territory.
What you will do- Build, manage, and grow relationships with direct customers and distributors across your territory
- Plan and execute annual and long‑term sales and margin targets with full budget responsibility
- Develop new business opportunities and identify emerging markets for products and services
- Manage selected Global and European accounts, contributing to growth strategies and pricing agreements
- Implement targeted sales and marketing programmes by market, product, and application
- Negotiate local contracts and commercial agreements
- Provide local technical support to customers and distributor partners
- Track opportunities, market trends, competitor activity, and pricing via CRM, keeping data accurate and current
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background
- Several years’ commercial experience in a B2B industrial or consumables environment
- Strong knowledge of metalworking, cutting tools, tooling, or CNC machining
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and manage complex accounts
- Confident communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel within the territory and work across cultures
- Existing network within the metalworking or machining industry
- Experience managing European or global accounts
- A genuinely international working environment with long‑term career progression
