Position: In Store Trainer | MAX&Co

We are looking for an In Store Trainer for our new Max&Co. Flagship Store in London
!

This role is essential in developing the skills, product knowledge, and service excellence of our sales team, ensuring they deliver an elevated and engaging shopping experience aligned with Brand standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced retail professional with strong communication and coaching abilities, able to inspire others and support their growth through structured training, continuous on‑floor observation, and personalized feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the achievement of training objectives assigned by HQ, including e‑learning completion and in‑store development plans.
  • Supporting the continuous growth of the sales team through structured coaching, product training, and reinforcement of service standards.
  • Overseeing and monitoring the onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with Brand expectations.
  • Observing team behaviours on the sales floor to evaluate service quality and product knowledge, providing timely feedback both on the floor and through dedicated one‑to‑one coaching sessions.
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of collections, product categories, materials, and styling guidelines, ensuring this expertise is effectively transferred to the team.
  • Promoting the use of digital tools to support training, improve operational efficiency, and enhance communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting sustainable practices within the store by promoting behaviours that enhance environmental care, business process efficiency, and organisational wellbeing.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in training, coaching, or senior sales roles within fashion or luxury retail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Solid understanding of product knowledge, styling, and luxury customer‑service standards.
  • Ability to observe, analyse, and provide constructive feedback in a structured and professional manner.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and openness to innovative learning solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills, precision, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
  • Team spirit, flexibility, and a genuine passion for fashion and customer experience.
