We are looking for a knowledgeable, hands‑on Plant Specialist to support the day‑to‑day running of the plants department. You will play a key role in maintaining plant standards, supporting customers, and helping guide the wider team.

This role offers a clear development pathway into a Supervisory position for the right candidate.

• Provide expert advice to customers on plants, plant care, and seasonal gardening
• Maintain high standards of plant health, watering, and presentation
• Support stock control, deliveries, and merchandising
• Assist with training and supporting Plant Assistants
• Lead by example on customer service and department standards
• Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth daily operations

• Strong knowledge of plants, horticulture, or gardening
• Experience in a garden centre or plant retail environment preferred
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
• Well organised with good attention to detail
• Ambitious and keen to progress into a Senior or Supervisor role
• Flexible and happy working indoors and outdoors
