Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

Manager, Visual Merchandising

As Manager, Visual Merchandising, you will be responsible for setting and executing visual merchandising plans that align with Sephora’s overall category strategy. You will lead the design on in-store visual displays, develop fixture catalogues and toolkits, and guide the Market Visual Merchandising team and vendors to ensure adherence to Sephora guidelines. Additionally, you will work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and high-quality execution of visual merchandising strategies.

You will also work with each local market to build up a pool of reliable visual merchandising vendors to ensure quality workmanship and execution in our stores.

  • Responsibility for the appearance of stores by setting visual merchandising plans in line with overall category strategy including brands’ merchandising fixtures and visual merchandising for new stores and seasonal updates across SEA
  • Leading the design of in-store visual displays, developing fixture catalogues and toolkits to ensure consistent execution across markets (e.g., category curation spaces, Only@, BOTF / Mini strategy).
  • Guiding Market Visual Merchandising teams and assigned vendors on validation of brands’ design proposals with feedback on how to improve their design for the store and customers while ensuring technical specifications are in adherence to Sephora guidelines
  • Standardizing and ensuring that guidelines are consistent within SEA countries through regular feedback sessions with Market Visual Merchandising teams and sharing best practices across countries
  • Developing and delivering clear toolkits, collaborating with cross-functional teams and markets on consistent and qualitative execution(e.g., Hot on Social, First@ campaigns)
  • Providing support and guidance to Market Visual Merchandising teams
  • Collaborating closely with the SEA and Market Visual Merchandising teams to ensure seamless and high-quality execution of visual merchandising strategies, including developing and implementing cohesive visual displays that align with brand standards and marketing objectives, in adherence to agreed timelines
  • Providing timely feedback to Market Visual Merchandising teams so that they can adjust their in-store activations
We would love to hear from you if you are/have…
  • At least 6 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the retail or beauty industry
  • A proven track record in designing in-store visual displays that employ innovative visual merchandising techniques and technologies to create compelling and engaging customer experiences
  • Experience in managing animation calendars and ensuring sales ROI for brand animations
  • Experience and proficiency in developing toolkits and regional guidelines
  • Familiarity with analyzing performance metrics to assess the impact of visual merchandising on sales and customer engagement, and using insights for continuous improvement
