Role

Purpose

The Store Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store and team. Working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Store Supervisor is responsible for helping drive sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring the highest standards of service, product knowledge, and styling expertise are consistently achieved.

1. Customer Service & Sales Performance
  • As a Store Supervisor, be commercially minded and help drive store success by identifying sales opportunities, supporting store growth, and reporting on performance.
  • Monitor competitor activity and local trading patterns, sharing insights with the management team.
  • Work closely with the styling team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver daily team briefings to motivate and guide the team, using coaching and training to support development and performance.
  • Handle customer service issues confidently, professionally, and calmly.
  • Conduct one-to-one and personal styling appointments, building complete outfits and styling the collection for clients.
  • Oversee the alteration process from start to finish.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and role model for best-in-class selling techniques and effective upselling.
2. Client Development
  • The Store Supervisor will implement CRM initiatives to grow and maintain a strong clientele database, increasing loyalty, retention, satisfaction, and spend.
  • Build and manage a personal client book while supporting store stylists in developing their own client relationships.
  • Proactively contribute to building brand awareness, including involvement in in-store and external brand events.
3. Store Operations & Team Support
  • Perform key managerial duties in the Manager's absence, including opening and closing procedures and overseeing daily store operations.
  • Work closely with the management team to motivate and incentivise the store team in creative and productive ways.
  • Support the planning and execution of store strategy.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to encourage ownership and create a self-managing team.
  • Deliver product training to maintain exceptional product knowledge across the team.
  • As a Store Supervisor, set, communicate, and maintain brand standards across the store, ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines.
4. Stock & Visual Merchandising Support
  • Support visual merchandising updates in line with new product drops.
  • Process deliveries and mid-week replenishment to ensure the shop floor is fully stocked and up to date.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels in collaboration with the Merchandising team, including monthly stocktakes and weekly cycle counts.
  • Assist with stocktakes as required.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Store Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a retail, boutique, or styling environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and how to deliver results through effective team leadership.
  • A people-focused leader who manages with kindness and ambition ("humbitious" - ambitious in a humble way).
  • Experience working within a premium or high-end retail environment.
  • Passionate about styling and building meaningful customer relationships.
  • Energetic, motivated, and proactive, with a willingness to go above and beyond the core responsibilities of the Store Supervisor role.
  • Comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with operational and administrative tasks.
