About the Role
We are seeking a commercially aggressive, results-driven Sales Lead to drive UK market entry and revenue generation for two complementary footwear propositions:
Our Brand, a luxury heritage hybrid footwear brand, and a white-label footwear range manufactured for UK retailers under their own branding.
This is fundamentally a sales role, not a marketing or brand-building position. Success will be measured by new retail relationships, concession placements, white-label agreements, and signed supply contracts.
The role acts as a commercial bridge between UK retailers, buyers, and concession operators, and overseas footwear factories producing Our Brand and white-label collections.
About Our Brand
Our Brand is a luxury heritage footwear brand specialising in hybrid formal shoes, combining traditional formal styling with modern comfort, flexibility, and premium finishing. The brand targets both young city commuters and established gentlemen who value craftsmanship and refinement.
Alongside Our Brand, a complementary white-label footwear range is offered, manufactured to the same quality and construction standards, but developed with adaptable design language to meet individual retailer briefs.
Core Objectives

* Secure UK retail placements for Our Brand

* Secure white-label supply agreements

* Build a repeatable outbound sales pipeline

* Convert samples into commercial orders and contracts

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and target footwear retailers, department stores, concession operators, boutiques, and private-label buyers

* Execute high-volume outbound sales activity including cold email, cold calling, Linked In outreach, and direct introductions

* Present both Our Brand as a retail proposition and white-label footwear as a manufacturing solution

* Lead negotiations from first contact through to signed supply or concession agreements

* Deliver performance against KPIs covering leads, meetings, samples, contracts, and revenue

* Translate UK footwear quality expectations to overseas factories

* Review samples and provide clear feedback on materials, construction, comfort, stitching, and finish

* Drive sample refinement to meet UK retail-ready standards

* Provide market insight on UK pricing, margins, buyer expectations, and competitive positioning
Candidate Profile
This role requires a confident closer, not a passive relationship manager.
Essential Experience

* UK footwear sales, sourcing, or retail business development experience

* Proven track record closing B2B deals with retailers or brands

* Experience working with overseas footwear factories

* Strong understanding of UK footwear quality expectations

* Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection
Highly Desirable

* Existing UK footwear buyer or retailer relationships

* Experience placing brands into concessions or department stores

* Strong product eye and attention to detail
