Loss Prevention Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a weekend Loss Prevention Assistant to join the Store Operations team within Fenwick Brent Cross!

We have the following contracts available;

Loss Prevention Assistant - 16 hours per week (weekend) - permanent

The Loss Prevention Assistant plays an important role in helping to prevent, identify and investigate loss within the store, working closely with the Loss Prevention Team Leader and Manager to reduce stock loss across all areas. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure environment for both customers and colleagues while protecting the business from theft and loss.

Day to day, the role involves patrolling the sales floor and back of house areas using CCTV and security systems, working alongside Security Guards and store teams. You will support the handling of incidents, calmly managing and de‑escalating challenging situations, reporting crimes and security breaches appropriately, and ensuring all actions are carried out professionally and in line with company policy.

Strong communication and investigative skills are essential, along with a good understanding of theft legislation, security equipment and confidentiality. The role requires a self‑motivated, approachable individual with excellent customer service awareness, effective time management and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and promote best practice.

• A proven track record in a Loss Prevention role in a similar business – essential.
• Health and safety / manual working awareness – essential.
• Sound knowledge of compliance and managing issues around this.
• Excellent communication skills.
• SIA Licence Holder.
