Role SummaryThe Stock Assistant position is based full‑time in the Browns flagship boutique located on Brook Street, Mayfair. Working within the Customer Experience team, you will be responsible for fulfilling customer requests and orders from the boutique retail team in‑person and online, and supporting the Stockroom Manager in maintaining stock integrity.
What You'll Do- Collaborate with the Personal Shopping team to respond to customer requests by locating, picking and running product across the boutique accurately and efficiently.
- Work with the Web Operations Team to pick and pack online orders within SLAs and guidelines.
- Receive deliveries for shopfloor product and customer requests, check deliveries, process the physical stock, update our systems, and put away all stock in the correct place; manage returns of old stock back to the warehouse according to agreed guidelines.
- Replenish sold stock, whether via the boutique or online, in a timely manner to keep the shopfloor customer‑ready.
- Perform cycle counts and regular stock checks and audits.
- Oversee quality control for orders and returns.
- Liaise with the Stockroom Manager to create action plans to avoid stock loss.
- Support the Stockroom Team in delivery of administrative work related to the stockroom.
- Able to manage tasks independently while also working closely to support your team and build strong relationships across the boutique.
- Collaborative, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, prioritising customers at all times.
- Administrative / data entry experience in a fashion retail environment preferred.
- Experience in stockroom retail preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form.
- Problem‑solving and multitasking skills.
