Assistant Merchandiser - External Brands

Kurt Geiger is an inclusive, creative footwear and accessories brand based in London, known for its iconic rainbow signature. As an Assistant Merchandiser within the External Brands team, you will support luxury partner stores to drive sales and optimise inventory.

• Identify trading actions from analysis of stock and sales data
• Own forward forecast for continuity lines, proposing re‑orders and stock management actions where required
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular meetings and contact
• Work closely with brands to place in‑season repeats and address slower‑turning stock
• Manage flow of intake into the warehouse, liaise with Buying, Distribution and Brand contacts; manage returns of slow‑moving stock back to the warehouse and ultimately to brand partners
• Identify, model and propose promotional activity to the Merchandiser for approval
• Own mid‑season trading review, presenting key learnings by Brand/Price‑point/Category/Location to inform buying strategy for the future season
• Produce ad‑hoc analysis for Buying and Merchandising colleagues, often working to tight deadlines
• Manage workload, coaching and development of one Merchandise Admin Assistant
• Undertake regular store visits to understand feedback from retail colleagues, see product in situ, and highlight key trading opportunities and stock risks

• Passionate about merchandising in a fashion environment
• Previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser
• Enjoys working with numbers and is a strong team player
