Supervisor - Gourmand Focacceria & Delicatessen

We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on Supervisor to join our Italian Focacceria & Delicatessen. This is an active, operational role where you will work alongside the team on a daily basis while taking on additional management responsibilities.

• Manage and support the day‑to‑day operations of the store.
• Prepare sandwiches using high‑quality Italian ingredients.
• Confidently and safely operate an electric slicer.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Italian food products (cheeses, cured meats, bread, etc.).
• Prepare a variety of coffee.
• Lead by example, working side by side with the team.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries professionally.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
• Organise staff schedules and daily workflow.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.

• Previous experience in a deli, sandwich shop, café, or similar food business (management or supervisory experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Italian food products is essential.
• Proven ability to use an electric slicer safely.
• Willingness to work hands‑on in food preparation and service.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Friendly, customer‑focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
