Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, and production tools.
- Handle incoming deliveries unpacking, organizing stock, and safe transportation of goods within the kitchen/storage areas.
- Keep all kitchen, bakery, and storage areas immaculately clean, tidy, and well‑organised.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety regulations and food hygiene standards at all times.
- Support pastry chefs and production staff with general prep tasks (non‑cooking) when needed.
- Maintain sanitized floors, surfaces, and equipment throughout your shift, helping ensure a smooth flow during busy periods.
- Previous experience as a kitchen porter / kitchen assistant or in a similar cleaning/support role is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and confidently in a busy, fast‑paced production kitchen.
- Reliable, punctual, flexible with shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Physically fit, capable of lifting and moving heavy boxes/equipment safely.
- Good understanding of basic Health & Safety and food hygiene standards.
- Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness and order.
- Team‑oriented with good communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Contract:Permanent, full‑time 5 days per week (weekends and bank holidays included, on rota)
