Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located directly outside Blackfriars station, a few minutes away from Bank and is a short stroll from St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and South Bank. The Grade II-listed five‑star hotel is steeped in regal history, residing on the former grounds of King Henry VIII's Bridewell Palace. The hotel offers 205 stylish guest rooms and suites, 4 meeting spaces, 1 restaurant and 1 signature bar.

• Participate in and supervise the preparation and cooking of all food on the given section in accordance with established recipe cards and methods.
• Check daily function sheets, menus, event orders and forecasts to ensure appropriate production levels.
• Ensure food is currently prepared to established standard by sampling on a regular basis.
• Ensure all dishes are correctly garnished (where appropriate) before being sent to the outlets for service.
• Conduct on‑job training as appropriate.
• Participate in menu planning as appropriate.
• Coach and encourage employees in your section to adopt correct work methods.
• Assist the Sous Chef in the completion of market lists in accordance with Hyatt quality and quantity standards.

You will have proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a hotel environment. You are confident in managing a specific kitchen section, maintaining high culinary standards, and working efficiently under pressure. A reliable team player, you support colleagues in consistently delivering exceptional dishes.
