Job Description

Making a note of our lounge guest food requests

Serving of food and beverages to lounge guests

Clearing and setting up of tables for dining purposes

Maintaining the buffet – replenishing food items, explaining dishes on the buffet and assisting with service

Polishing of cutlery, crockery, and glassware

Ability to describe dishes offered on the buffet and à la carte menu explaining the allergens

Attend to passenger queries and complaints

Consult the supervisors and managers as and when required

Liaise with the bar person and culinary team with regards to food and drinks orders

Ensuring that all food and beverage related services are provided as per Qatar Airways standards (these will be provided during the service training provided by Qatar Airways management)

Assisting the cleaning team in the lounge and back‑of‑house areas during non‑passenger usage.

• Minimum 2 years hospitality experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Great team player
• Attention to details and the ability to work fast under pressure
• Self‑motivated attitude
• Confident working in a team
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Flexibility in regards to your work availability is essential, as the Lounge operates 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
