Baker Sous Chef

Production Site (SW8). 5 Hertford Street is the beautifully appointed private member's club owned and operated by entrepreneur Robin Birley; located in the heart of Mayfair. Our aim is to be a home away from home, in the utmost comfort, where members are looked after by a team who know them by name. We are currently looking for a Baker Sous Chef to join the brigade at our state of the art, exceptionally equipped production kitchen located near Battersea.

Working hours
  • Straight shifts, up to 48 hours a week
  • Working hours ranging with shift starts from 1am
    -4am
What you will do
  • Working alongside our Head Baker, assisting with managing and mentoring a team of up to 8 people
  • To ensure that all the products are baked and presented to excellent quality
  • Managing food and stock rotation, following our recipes and SOP’s in place
  • Organising mise en place, and the team accordingly to the business needs
What are we looking for
  • Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member’s club advantageous
  • Previous experience in the same role is essential, within a similar environment
  • Experience in Viennoiserie production, lamination and bread shaping

Salary: up to £46,000 yearly
