Experienced bartenders, this one’s for you. We’re recruiting now for Poolhouse’s opening team and are specifically looking for confident, highly experienced bartenders who can hit the ground running. This is not an entry-level role — it’s for professionals who already deliver exceptional service, work clean and fast under pressure, and are ready to help set the standard for a brand-new venue opening in February 2026.

What This Role Is Here To Do (Role Purpose):
As a Bartender at Poolhouse, you’re the face behind the bar – crafting drinks with skill, speed, and flair while delivering standout guest experiences. You’ll work with precision and pride, making every order to spec, keeping the bar running smoothly, and bringing energy and personality to every interaction. Whether it’s shaking a cocktail, pouring a pint, or sharing product knowledge, you create the vibe that keeps guests coming back.

• Drinks are consistently prepared fast, correct, and to spec.
• Guests feel welcomed, valued, and impressed by your service.
• You bring energy, personality, and professionalism to the bar.
• The bar stays clean, stocked, and organised throughout service.
• Communication with floor and kitchen is smooth and effective.
• You uphold brand standards and contribute to a lively, fun atmosphere.
• Team morale is high, with bartenders supporting each other under pressure.

• Prepare and serve all drinks to spec, with speed and consistency.
• Deliver great guest interactions – friendly, attentive, and professional.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene at all times.
• Keep stock areas replenished and support stock rotation and counts.
• Work effectively with colleagues to keep service smooth and efficient.
• Handle payments accurately and responsibly.
• Share product knowledge with guests, making recommendations with confidence.
• Support training of new team members by sharing best practice.
• Uphold standards for appearance, punctuality, and teamwork.

• Previous bartending experience in a busy, high-volume venue.
• Skilled in classic cocktails, draught service, and product knowledge.
• Fast, accurate, and attentive to detail under pressure.
• Natural communicator with positive energy and great guest rapport.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in all aspects of work.
