Kitchen Porter - Brompton Cross, Daylesford Organic About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will work alongside the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe workplace across the kitchen and all the back‑of‑house areas. Ideally, you’ll have experience in similar food, restaurant or café environments, or you’ll simply have a passion for good food so that the basics come easily to you. Knowing quite a bit about our products and recipes is a must.

The role will require stamina, an enjoyment of the fast pace, and a strong sense of organisation to coordinate your station seamlessly.

• Collect and wash pots, pans, plates, and cutlery
• Ensure pots, pans, plates, and cutlery are put back into service as quickly as possible
• Wash and disinfect kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly stored
• Organise the storeroom
• Ensure cleaning rotas are followed and adhered to at all times
• Remove and recycle waste from the kitchen
• Comply with the store internal audit requirements
• Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision
• Inspire and empower customers, suppliers and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world

Salary: £12.33 per hour + TRONC

Hours:

Full time – 16 hours per week
